  3. - ABOUT DLL CHECK 1.0                  -

  5. DLL Check is a tool that allows you to see which modules, commonly known as 
  6. DLLs, a Windows application calls.  Conversely it also allows you see which
  7. applications are called by a particular module.

  9. DLL Check was written in Borland Pascal Version 7.01.
  10.  
  11. Registered users of DLL Check will also be able to use the Drag and Drop
  12. feature that allows you to open files from Drag and Drop aware applications
  13. such as the File Manager.

  19. You must have Windows 3.1 or later in order to use DLL Check.
  20.  
  21. DLL Check can be installed by placing the DLLCHECK.EXE and DLLCHECK.HLP
  22. files in any desired directory.  Upon the initial run of DLL Check, a
  23. DLLCHECK.INI file will be created in the same directory you placed the
  24. files in.

  26. After running DLL Check, if you get an error stating:  "can not find
  27. file (or one of its components)" then copy the CTL3D.DLL file to your
  28. Windows system directory (eg:  C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\CTL3D.DLL).  This file
  29. gives the 3-D effects to all the DLL Check dialogs.  Several other Windows
  30. applications use this file as well.

  52. DLL Check may be used freely for evaluation purposes for up to two weeks.  If you
  53. decide to keep the software after the evaluation period please send $7.00 to
  54. the author for registration.  Sorry, at the moment only U.S. dollars are
